to provide to migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants and the migrant
communities in the Far North Region of the State of Queensland:
- Guidance
and assistance with completing forms
- Assistance
with Income Tax Returns for low income earners
- Information
on housing and household formation
- Assistance
with resume writing and finding employment
- Assistance
with access to English classes
- Access
to Health services, Child and Age care
- Family
related issues
- Information
on Centrelink services
- Information
on recognition of Overseas Qualificationsgeneral and specific information
on the settlement process in Australia
- Referral
to government and other agencies
- Community
development assistance for migrant associations and groups

Most
of the above services are available through our outreach service in Innisfail,
the Tablelands and Mossman.
MSS
services are provided free of charge and in strict confidentiality.
Our
office hours are: Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
